Great schools
Ponte Vedra residents are proud of their public school system, consistently well ranked by most any measure. The St. Johns County School District boasts the No. 1 ranking out of 67 Florida counties on the FCAT (Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test) for more than three years in a row. The Ponte Vedra Palm Valley-Rawlings Elementary School and Ocean Palms Elementary School are the area’s two primary, public elementary schools (K-5) and Alice B. Landrum Middle School is one of the main public middle schools. The Ponte Vedra area also offers two public high schools – Allen D. Nease High School and Ponte Vedra High School.
