Neptune Beach

Nestled between Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach offers families a variety of residential options from fine waterfront living to homes along the marshes of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. One of the smallest beaches communities at about two and a half square miles, the town nevertheless possesses a strong civic pride. Indeed, Neptune Beach is named after a train station built in 1922 after residents called for greater transportation access. The station no longer exists, but the area upon which it rested now is part of the Beaches Town Center, located along the northern border of Neptune Beach, where elegant boutiques and art galleries mix creatively with the always-popular area restaurants. In Neptune Beach, residents bustle to work in the morning along 3rd Street, but in this coastal town, two or three cars lined up at a stoplight constitutes commuting traffic. The town also boasts a robust education suite, with more than half a dozen schools located in the area. Supporting the educational institutions is the public library in Neptune Beach, which offers a range of media, Wi-Fi connections and a permanent art collection. Informal, relaxed, and with all the amenities a modern family could desire, Neptune Beach offers the spectacular Atlantic Ocean coastline with clean white sand, salt-tinged breezes and memorable sunrises.
